Dance can create new opportunities for successful learning.  It can help your child develop an alert, quick-thinking mind and rhythmical coordination.  Dance can enhance your child’s self-image and build confidence because the movement experience depends on the child’s own abilities.  Children use their own bodies as the artistic tool to express themselves.  Our classes are designed to suit the needs of the group while supporting each child individually.  Your child will benefit greatly from this experience, learning to dance and having lots of fun!

My Dance Studio specializes in Children's Dance Education and regularly offers classes in: 
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and Pre-School Creative Movement.

Our dance calendar runs September through mid-June, with our yearly recital held in mid June.
We also have a Summer Dance Program each year.

Over the past 22 years, "My Dance Studio" has participated in various activities such as:
-Fundraisers for Breast Cancer Awareness, Women's Heart Disease, Children's Leukemia, Multiple Sclerosis and the Cure Alzheimer's Fund.
-Performing at assisted living/retirement homes
-Supporting Smithsburg Senior High in their homecoming parade
-Adopting nursing home residents for Christmas with our "Giving Tree"

We use our talent to help make a difference in our community.
